Use variables to pull dynamic data from Filevine into your VineConnect® communications
Filevine Variables are placeholders that automatically pull data from your Filevine account into VineConnect® communications and timelines. Instead of static text, variables let you personalize and contextualize messages with real-time project, contact, and case data.
Where Variables Can Be Used
Different VineConnect® features support different variables. Use the reference below to determine which variables are available for each feature:

Finding Available Variables
When you're working in any of these features, look for an "Available Variables" link that will show you exactly which variables you can use in that specific context. This ensures you're using the right data fields for your message.
Custom Variables
VineConnect® now supports custom variables, allowing you to create personalized data placeholders beyond the standard Filevine fields. This gives you even more flexibility in personalizing client communications and automating workflows.
