The Project Data Migrator is VineMigrator®'s primary tool for managing project data in Filevine. It allows you to:

Understanding Static and Collection Sections
Before using the Project Data Migrator, it's important to understand how Filevine organizes project data.
Static Sections
Also referred to as Forms or Form Sections:
Contain fields that exist once per projectCommonly used for case-level detailsExample: An Intake section with fields such as date of incident, client demographics, and incident summaryCollection Sections

Use the Create Collection Section Items job to bulk populate collection sections.
How to Create Collection Items

Use the Update job type to modify existing project data.
How to Update Items
Select Update as your job typeDownload the CSV templateEnter the Project ID and collection item IDs you want to updateSpecify which fields to updateUpload your completed CSVReview and select Create JobDeleting Collection Items
Use the Delete function to remove collection items when data needs to be removed.
