Media Locker is a centralized storage space in the VineConnect® admin portal where you can upload images, videos, and other media files for use in your client communications. Media can transform regular SMS messages into MMS (multimedia messages) or be embedded directly into emails.

Creating a New Media Object

Click the "Add New" button at the top of the Media Locker page

Enter a shortcode — A unique identifier for this media file

Use a descriptive name that's easy to recognize (e.g., "logo-header", "firm-intro-video")

Upload your media file

Click "Save"

Your media is now available for use in SMS, MMS, and email communications throughout VineConnect®.

Understanding Your Media Objects

Once saved, each media object displays:

Field	Purpose
ID for Media Code	Used for logging and tracking on the Dashboard
Code	Your shortcode with a copy button for quick copying
URL	Live link to preview the image or media file
Created At	The date you uploaded this media object
Actions	Edit the shortcode or remove the media object entirely

Using Media in Communications

When composing SMS, MMS, or email messages in VineConnect®:

Click the media/attachment icon

Use the copy button next to the shortcode in Media Locker

Paste the shortcode into your message

VineConnect® will automatically embed or attach the media when the message is sent

This allows you to build reusable media libraries for consistent branding and messaging across all client communications.
